Meet the faces behind Plum and Petal
Plum and Petal is owned and operated by Melanie and Hollie, a dedicated mother-daughter team. Having shared our passion for creativity, we always dreamed of the idea of owning a family-run creative business together. After endless exploration into the creative world, we discovered our niche in the world of florals! After 3 years of study, we are now both degree qualified floral designers and cannot imagine doing anything else that is not flower related.
There is no 'no size fits all' with our design work, as each wedding is tailor-made to every client. Although our signature style can best be described as romantic, delicate and timeless. We are also extremely partial to soft colour tones and seasonal blooms within our design work.
Meet the Team
Melanie
I’m often behind the scenes managing all things accounts, organising quantities for upcoming designs, and chatting with you during phone consultations! On making days, you’ll find me working with Hollie, conditioning and designing together.
Hollie
You’ll usually find me replying to emails, planning floral design proposals, and keeping our socials in tip-top shape! On making days, I’m right alongside my mum — conditioning, creating, and bringing your designs to life.
The Studio
Our home studio is based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, and is the place where all the floral magic happens! No matter the wedding or event, our goal is to create beautiful blooms and a seamless process throughout. There is something so meaningful and heart-warming about being able to create designs for someone’s big day, and we don't think this will ever change, it's what makes our job so rewarding!
