How Many Weddings Do You Work on in One Day?

We only take on one wedding per day and, in most cases, no more than two weddings per week. This allows us to dedicate our full attention to each couple, ensuring every floral arrangement is thoughtfully designed and executed to perfection. By limiting the number of weddings we book each year, we can provide the highest level of care, creativity, and seamless coordination for your big day.

Do You Have a Minimum Spend?

At Plum & Petal, we don’t have a strict minimum spend because we believe every wedding, no matter the size, deserves beautiful flowers! However, we do have set pricing for our floral arrangements to maintain our signature style. Additionally, the cost may vary depending on your wedding location and any specific requirements for travel and setup.

How Far in Advance Should I Book My Wedding Flowers?

This really depends on you as a couple! Some of our clients book over a year in advance, while others secure their date 6 to 8 months ahead. The earlier you book, the better your chances of securing your desired wedding date—especially during peak wedding season (April to September). However, it’s never too late to enquire! We may still have availability, so don’t hesitate to reach out. When you do, it’s helpful to have a general vision of your floral needs, but we’re happy to guide you through the process.

Who Will Deliver My Flowers on the Day?

We personally deliver all wedding flowers ourselves. This is such a special moment for us—after months of planning and designing, we love handing over your bouquets in person and wishing you the best for your big day. For venue decor, we typically handle the setup ourselves. However, if your floral installation is particularly large, we may bring in extra hands, which we will always discuss with you beforehand to ensure you’re kept in the loop.

When Do I Need to Pay the Final Balance?

To secure your wedding date, we require a £200 deposit, which is deducted from your final balance. The remaining amount is due six weeks before your wedding day.

I haven’t Chosen My Colour Scheme—Can You Help?

Absolutely! You don’t need to have a set colour scheme to enquire with us. We can guide you through different options, suggest complementary shades, and help refine your vision. Many couples are surprised by how beautifully different tones can be blended to create a unique, textured bouquet. Don’t be afraid to ask for our input—we’re more than happy to help!

Can You Recreate a Bouquet from a Picture?

We love seeing inspiration images, if its one of our own then thats even better! They help us understand the style, shape, and colour palette you’re drawn to. While we always aim to capture the essence of your inspiration, we never directly copy another florist’s work. Every florist has a unique style, and when you book with us, you’re choosing our signature floral artistry. To ensure we’re the right fit, we recommend browsing our portfolio to see if our aesthetic aligns with your vision.

Will You Work with My Cake Designer If I Want Flowers on My Wedding Cake?

Yes! We love collaborating with cake designers and have done so for many weddings. We provide loose, non-toxic floral stems in a jam jar, which can then be arranged by your cake designer to complement your wedding cake beautifully.

Do You Charge a Delivery Fee?

Yes, we charge a delivery and service fee, which varies depending on the setup requirements and the distance from our East Riding of Yorkshire location. We typically cover a one-hour radius, with additional charges applied for longer distances. Each quote is customised based on travel time and setup nee
